ArkAHEAD Award Nominations

It’s time to nominate your colleagues, and other individuals, and agencies for their outstanding work promoting disability access and inclusion. Ark-AHEAD offers two awards each year – the Ark-AHEAD Distinguished Service Award and the Ark-AHEAD Social Justice Award. Winners will be highlighted during our spring conference!  Below are more details for each award:

  • Ark-AHEAD Distinguished Service Award – The award will be given to an Ark-AHEAD member who has been a member of Ark-AHEAD for more than five years and has experience working with students with disabilities in higher education for more than three years.  The award recipient will receive a plaque and a $100.00 check from Ark-AHEAD. 
  • Ark-AHEAD Social Justice Award – This award will be given to an Arkansas citizen, agency, organization, or association that works to promote social justice on a daily basis in their communities statewide for persons with disabilities.  The award recipient will receive a plaque and a $100.00 check from Ark-AHEAD.
